Flow & Flow

2018年的上海送走了许多石库门老弄堂。也有曾经挂满岁月痕迹的些许街面，被平整的砌墙与油漆代替。几个月没去游走，照相机的取景框里就会找不到以往流动的质感，沿途曾经灵动的光与影子也难免失趣，变得平平无奇。

前两天在车上碰巧遇见这样一个画面。新闸路上的一批老房子已完全被封，冷清的立面中嵌着一家一直留守着的“老邻居”小吃店。半年前就觉得它和正在被拆迁的左右“邻居们“有着强烈的对比。如今人去楼空，不解小吃店却依旧在那里的原因。

也许店里老板很执着，也许邻居们都特别喜欢这家开了几十年的小吃店，也许在拆迁的过程中，有个怀旧的念头把它留了下来。

很想知道它的故事。

在这除旧迎新的日子里，但愿过去美好的人事物都会继续成为后来的一部分，带着贴心的温度，留存在某一个空间。预祝大家元旦快乐，2019年事事顺，心更顺。

Let It Snow

Day became unusually bright this morning. Snow is slowly vaporizing into the dustless cool air as if it would still want to be here for days to come. Leaves fell to reveal a more transparent world behind the busy branches. Inhale deeply. What an elaborate painting! The fleeting beauty of life is long lasting after all.

Before The Age of Green

Most often we look at a rather familiar/specific corner of the world without really looking at it. Interesting details become background noises which ultimately blur into very abstract memories as our minds wander at later times. Earlier today while I was waiting to cross the street, by chance I looked up and saw the winter's blow has already done its work of clearing the upper part of the once leafy tree tops to reveal the contrasting building facades behind. The sight is seemingly disorganized yet fluent. Spaces intertwined with delicate movements of colors and light.

If you had listened closely, there was such a lovely winter melody playing in the air.
