I don't intend to post every page of every 'Saint Seiya' issue there is. Yup, I own all of them (the original Japanese version (28 volumes) and the translated Chinese version (15 volumes) which I can read). Here are some scanned images of every issue's cover art. I am still trying to gather as many outstanding images as I could from the manga series, and post them here for whatever reasons.
This part of my site will be dealing a lot with the characters in the 'Saint Seiya' series, while the "Anime" page is more targeted towards its storyline. Personally, I just adore the manga so much more than the 'Saint Seiya' anime. Simply because of its beautifully expressed and very detailed drawing style. Masami Kurumada's character designs are far more fascinating and absorbing than the ones that're on the TV screen. Not to mention the way he does those "cloths", his outstanding ability of using varied shades of gray to create texture and volume in a black and white printing environment makes me cry.

Hyoga vs. the Legendary Soldiers of Ice!! ============== only available in the manga Centuries ago, there was a great kingdom called "BLUE GLIDE" in the eastern region of Siberia, where its people had worshipped their Gods and lived simply but peacefully. Then during one night, it was destroyed, nothing was ever found. So does the legend say... They claim to be the once vanished Soldiers of Ice, and they say they came from "BLUE GLIDE". It is Hyoga's task to find out whether if these people are friends or perhaps this group of army is nothing but an immediate threat of danger. *Not to be mistaken by the picture on the left, the story itself has no direct connections with Hyoga's mother. |
